"raising awareness about dating violence, harassment and consent"

NOT #MeToo is an event that highlights the importance of understanding and preventing harassment, teen dating violence and understanding consent. As a person who has experienced harassment, I find it important for people to know more about this issue. Currently, the hash-tag #MeToo has been trending, with people sharing their stories about assault. My event 'NOT #MeToo' will teach people how to be a voice on school campuses and give them the tools to prevent future experiences like these from ever happening. 'NOT #MeToo' will be used as a way to motivate and prevent people from ever having to add to the hash-tag! I hope that all teens will be able to say to others that harassment and assault did NOT (happen to) Me Too !
